In the contemporary context of economic, urban and ecological challenges ECO SHORE Festival aims the full development of innovative ideas for organizing and development of riparian area, including solving several specific tasks, among them are the following:

- modern ecological, urban planning, architectural and design development of coastal and island territories;

- creation of ecologically meaningful recreational environment;

- drawing of attention of state, municipal and public organizations to the prospects for the development of riparian and island territories;

- every possible development of water tourism and its infrastructure;

- popularization of active lifestyle;

- promoting the introduction of new innovative technologies in coastal development;

- attracting the attention of investors, designers, builders, material, products and technologies manufacturers to the prospects and new ideas for the riparian area development.

In the light of these tasks, the problems of recreation and living in the close quarters of the coastlines are the most acute and pressing, since coastal territories are the main and indispensable value of the city, its inhabitants, tourists and business. The competition as an equal creative contest is organized in order to receive proposals for creating ecologically balanced and comfortable environment, the "recreation center" of the city of Ulyanovsk.
